"Swing" is America's Dance and it has been exported all around the world since the 1940s. Because it is a truly Global dance, we have formed an association comprised of experienced Swing Deejays from around the world, who play the music that dancers Swing to. We are the Global Swing DJs Group.

Our mission: To provide our member deejays with an International forum to encourage robust discussion about the music we play, to share knowledge about deejay equipment, to comment about music industry developments, and to promote fraternity among its members.

Each month our members post Ten Swing Songs that they recommend for play at any Swing Dance venue. A few times a year we arrange informal gathering at Swing events, around the world, to share thoughts and get more acquainted with each other.

If you feel you are an experienced Swing DJ and are interested in joining our group, we ask that you contact one of our members for sponsorship to GlobalSwingDJs. Also please submit a brief bio of your deejaying experiences when applying, and send to: msl8nite@sbcglobal.net.

Group Objectives

+ Keep in mind this is a SWING DJ group.
Post a "List of 10", every 60 days, of ANY nature that adds value to our group (top 10, most popular songs, new songs, blues only, pop only, Lindy only - whatever)

+ Failure to post in the 60 days period will mean removal from the group - no exceptions. Removed members must wait a period 6 months before applying again.

+ No off-color, caustic or insulting posts whatsoever. One warning from Moderator before you are removed from the group.

+ Lastly, we ask that all post end with your signature, city and state.
